He has been associated with the Insurance Industry since 1981 and worked in both PSU (New India Assurance) & Private Insurance companies (IFFCO TOKIO) for more than 34yrs in various capacities from branch to Head office. He has vast technical knowledge and experience of Insurance product, and has successfully created new concepts of Insurance Business for the past 34yrs. He is considered as one of the most reliable & dependent Insurance expert in the Industry. The market presence created by him especially in the eastern part of the country is laudable. His last assignment was with IFFCO TOKIO General Insurance as the Regional Head, East.

With more than two and a half decade years of experience in general insurance market in India as well as overseas market, Mr. Ghatak is a seasoned Insurance professional with a rare skill set of having experience in Life, Non Life & Takaful business. He has comprehensive knowledge & understanding of the Asia Pac region (excl. China & Japan) with special emphasis on India. His Specialties are planning including Strategic Options, General Management, Underwriting of Marine & Accident Class of business, Distribution Management. His entire experience has stretched upon working with leading companies like New India Assurance, IFFCO Tokio General Insurance, Tokio Marine Asia Pte. Ltd. and Edelweiss Tokio Life Insurance.
Shwetabh, Director
An engineer by qualification, Shwetabh has an experience of 10+ years in the insurance domain. With strong technical and marketing skills, he is responsible for business development and operations management across Bihar & Jharkhand. He was the Retail Head of Odisha & Jharkhand during his tenure at Iffco Tokio General Insurance. His areas of expertise include underwriting and claims in retail line, business procurement, risk inspection and valuation.
Sumeet Mohanty, Director
Responsible for business development in Odisha, Sumeet brings in a rich experience of 9 years in the insurance domain. He heads the retail and corporate lines of business in Odisha. Customer retention skills is his forte and under his leadership the team has scaled greater heights in Odisha. Academically, he holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration
Joydeep Roy, Executive Director
Mr. Roy started his career with National Insurance Co Ltd, Kolkata in 1987. After that he held positions as regional head East in ITGI, Head Corporate Marketing Group and CEO, Iffco Tokio Insurance Services Ltd before moving to Phoenix of Botswana as CEO . He was working in Reliance Insurance, Tanzania as COO before joining Saferisk in Nov 2018.He specialized in Marine Insurance while working for National and has always taken keen interest in insurance technicalities all through his career. Retail distribution is another area of interest for Mr. Roy .Interestingly, he has co-authored a book named “ Marine Cargo Insurance- A Pathway” as well. He currently resides in Kolkata with his wife and one son who is a working professional. Travelling , Photography and cooking are his hobbies.
Sudhir Patnaik, Executive Director
Mr. Patnaik started his career with Oriental Insurance Co. Ltd. in the year 1988 and spent almost 18 years with various responsibilities at different stages with marketing being the primary profile for most of his tenure .In March 2006 he joined Iffco-Tokio GIC Ltd. and continued till November 2019 , viz., for a duration of more than 13 & a half yrs .At ITGI, he worked in various capacities , i.e., having started as a Senior Manager ( Marketing ) at Bhubaneswar,as SBU Head both at Mumbai & Bhubaneswar, Regional Marketing Head at Kolkata and finally as Head – CSC Kolkata. In November 2019, Mr. Patnaik joined Saferisk Insurance Brokers Pvt.Ltd. at Bhubaneswar Corporate Office and is still continuing in the capacity of Executive Director .His domain experience is now is more than 33 yrs out of which 23 yrs has been in insurance marketing ( both retail & corporate ) and the remaining 10 yrs in technical underwriting & claims .
